Sean Hanley

Head Coach

 

Background:

Coach Sean is a rare Northern Virginia native, having grown up in Herndon, VA.  He played youth travel baseball in the organizations that pre-date today’s NVTBL.  He attended Fairfax High School where he played baseball, football, and throwing events in track and field.  He is the son of coach and spent most of his youth either participating in sports or running around various high school sports facilities.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech as well as a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.  He spent his first 10 years out of college working at Boeing designing airplanes in St. Louis before moving back to the DC area where he switched into government service with the Air Force.  His wife, Mary, is a dedicated Baseball Mom (#momsagainstwhitebaseballpants) and together they corral 3 children, two of whom are travel baseball players.
